Will breast drop to cover crease scar? (photos)

Great question – looks like your surgery was done recently? I always tell my patients to please be patient as time alone helps the implants settle into the right position, but it can take several months to a year for everything to soften, settle and the final swelling to resolve. You will always have a scar in that location, the question is if the implant position and skin laxity over time will conceal it more. Keep all of your follow up appointments with your surgeon so she/he can monitor the progress and make recommendations.The upper poles of your breasts look symmetric, and it is always challenging when there significant preoperative asymmetry. You look great, and I'm glad you are happy!

Thanks for your question.  While you look like you are well on your way to a nice result, it will take some time for things to settle (3-6 months).  It is likely that the scar will be covered once this happens.  Only time will tell.  Congratulations on your nice result.  Continue to follow your surgeons post-op instructions.  Best of luck to you.  

It can take anywhere from 3-6 months for your breasts to fully heal and drop/settle into their final position so there is a very good chance that the breast will fall and cover your incisions. Be patient. Best, Dr. Nazarian
