Will the antibiotics effect My result or will the bacteria cause problems with my lip Filler ?

Just had juvederm put into my lips and I love it although they’re swollen as usual Haha but I just realized im taking penicillin for a very mild case of strep Throat (caught At beginning since I have recurrent strep - yes, need to have my tonsils removed ). Will the antibiotics effect My result or will the bacteria cause problems with my lip Filler ? I totally didn’t realize even asking this question because I figured since I’m on pills now for two days it should be fine... little worried now.

Thank you for your question! I would suggest you wait at least 2 weeks before adding more filler. This is because there could still be swelling and bruising that could effect how the new filler settles.

Hello,Thank you for your question. Based on what can be seen it appears that you may still be experiencing some swelling. Give the filler about 2 weeks to fully calm down and then evaluate. Best of luck!
