I am about 5 days post-op, and I have been trying to sleep on my back everyday. However, I woke up this afternoon on my side after I took a 2 hour nap. I must have switched positions in my sleep. Will lying on my side for an hour or so have any long lasting effects on my breasts? Thanks

Dear Brianna,
Thank you for posting your question and photographs. Going by what you have said and your photographs, a breast augmentation with a cicumareoalar lift (and areaolar reduction) may be the best procedure for you. I would not advise going for too large an implant as that...
It would be unlikely for an umbilical port breast augmentation to have caused a hernia. Six years is a long time after surgery and umbilical hernias are very common.
Thank you for your question! For my patients having a breast augmentation, I recommend they do not lift over 10 lbs for the first 6 weeks post surgery. I also recommend discussing specific post op instructions with your plastic surgeon. Best of luck!
