Is a tingling sensation normal 3 months after FUE for traction alopecia?

Hi i had 250 grafts placed through the fue method, however my recipient site has alot of tingling sensations. It has been 3 months. I was wondering this normal. My ht doctor has no clue on whats going on. I was wondering if any doctors on here have seen this in their patients. Thank you for youre time and effort

Your healing process can take up to 6-7 months, do not forget that your head got close to 250 holes in order to get this opeartion done. There is nothing to worry about.

It is best to contact your doctor about post operative issues.  It is not clear what you are referring to so it may be best to see another doctor for an examination.  Some numbness can be normal after surgery.

As nerves start to reconnect and hair starts to grow it is not unusual to experience a "tingling " senasation. This should dissipate over the next few months.

Numbness and tingling are expected during the healing process in both the recipient site and donor area. Tingling is just nerves reattaching. Hairs are also starting to grow at 3 months.

Tingling is the result of healing nerves that were cut (always happens to some degree) after a hair transplant. Nothing to worry about.
