Will any wired-bra work after a bottoming out revision? Is there a specific type of "wired" bra I should wear? (Photo)

Hi Manda,Thank you for questioning and your photo. I would recommend wearing any underwear bra that actually lifts your implants above where the new reconstructive breast fold is. You want that area to not be stressed by the implant and allow it time to heal properly. We know that regardless of how good your surgeon is or how strong the sutures that are placed that the tissue can relax around the sutures. It is extremely important as it appears that you have large implants in place and remember that gravity always wins. So where your bra religiously Presley six weeks preferably three months and then nightly to maintain tissue support. If you provided a better history in terms of what happened to previous breast implants you might get a more detailed answer from surgeons. Thank you for sharing your question and photograph.  Always best to clear your garments with your surgeon but in most cases after a bottoming out you want to wear a supportive underwire bra that firmly applies pressure to the lower portion of each breast along the site of your now "higher" crease.  This lends the implants support while your capsule and tissues heal in this new position.  Hope this helps.

Thank you for your question. Usually most surgeons do not prefer a specific type or brand of bra. Sometimes to reinforce the IMF, wearing a more supportive bra can help. The one you have chosen is likely fine, but you can always verify with your surgeon if there are concerns.

and the wire should not pinch your bra.  Your bra should take the weight of the implant off where the pocket was elevated.  And you should wear you bra in the shower as well, unless you were told by your surgeon that you did not have to.  Best of luck as keeping them as they are.
