A month ago, I had a syringe of Restylane injected in my tear trough. Prior to that, in October of 2015 I'd had a syringe of Juvederm injected in the same area. I have hypothyroidism and the lines that run under my eyes are EXTREMELY deep due to my condition. Unfortunately, for both times, the filler didn't do much. Although the lines subsided a small amount, I still always looked exhausted. Did I not receive enough filler both times? Or what other approach can I take to get rid of these lines?

Restylane and Restylane Silk are two of my favorite products that I am using, especially around the mouth. However, there can be a great deal of swelling with these products. I would definitely consult a specialist about dissolving the product that was not injected well with Vitrase. Best, D...
I would definitely return to your treating physician for evaluation to see why you don't have the results you expected. Perhaps Belotero layered on top might help. Best, Dr. Green
It is possible that the product made the vein look for prominent or the Restylane's bluish hue made the area look more blue. I would return to your treating physician for examination. Best, Dr. Green
