5'8" 140lbs. Highly active lifestyle. I had a BA in April 2015 I did 425cc Sentra high profile round textured implants. I've never been happy with the size. I was originally a 32C and I'm now a 32DDD. With my frame I don't feel my implants look big enough for me. I want a fuller fake look but I also don't want to be "too big". I'm thinking 485cc HP or 535 XHP. I've posted pic of my current 425 HP implants and photos of the look I would like to achieve. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!
Answer: 425cc wanting bigger Looking at the pictures you sent of you and what you are looking for I would say two things. The first is that a "fuller fake look" and "too big" are contradictory. Having said that the women you show appear to have started with more breast tissue than you and have wider breasts than what you have. If you change to a 485cc HP that will be too small that in essence will be no change.. You need to go up at least 100 if not 125cc in volume. In addition to increase in projection you also need an increase in width to obtain the look of those women you show. The 535cc UHP implant maybe not be wide enough to give you the increase in width.

Answer: Size Change Hello,You'll need at least a 20% increase, or about 100 cc to make a modest difference, so 525 to 550 would probably make you happy. Best of luck!

Answer: 26 years old. 5'8", 140lbs. 425cc HP wanting bigger. Advice needed. Thank you for the question. Although it is not possible to provide you with definitive advice without an person evaluation, most patients are able to "go larger" at a second stage, once the breast tissues have expanded (after first-time breast augmentation). Sometimes, during this revisionary surgery, adjustment of the breast implant capsules is also necessary to achieve the desired outcome. You will find that online consultants will not be able to provide you with specific advice in regards to selection of specific breast implant size/profile. Ultimately, careful communication of your goals (in my practice I prefer the use of goal pictures, direct examination/communication in front of a full-length mirror, and computer imaging) will be critical. Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering revisionary breast augmentation surgery (regarding breast implant size/profile selection) is:1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work.2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. I have found that the use of words such as “natural” or "D or DD cup” or "fuller fake look" etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate.3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals. Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery ( after the use of temporary intraoperative sizers). Viewing the patient's chest wall in the upright and supine positions, with temporary sizes in place, help select the best breast implant size/profile for the specific patient.I hope this, and the attached link (dedicated to larger breast augmentation surgery concerns), helps. Best wishes.

Answer: Exchanging to larger sized breast implants. Thanks for your question and photographs. I choose to to see precisely the contour, shape and size that can be achieved during surgery through the use of test implants or sizers before making my final selection. Having said that I would estimate that a mid-plus profile implant in the 500 to 550 mL size range would likely be an improvement for you. Do keep in mind however that there are long-term problems associated with large implants related to thinning and future rippling. Discuss these with your surgeon before proceeding. Best wishes for a good result. Jon A Perlman M.D., FACS Diplomate, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) Beverly Hills, California

Answer: 26 years old. 5'8", 140lbs. 425cc HP wanting bigger. It isn't possible for consultants on this site to specify implant volumes for an individual, but in general if you are already at 425cc you won't see much of a difference without going up at least 100cc more. You have photos of your goal look. An artistic and experienced surgeon can use those photos during surgery and with the use of intraoperative sizers the surgeon will determine, during surgery, what it takes to get that look and will choose and insert the proper implants.
