I advise my patients that they can resume sexual activities after three weeks to a month. After that time, just about any position is fine, as long as it's comfortable and doesn't apply too much tension on your breasts or incisions. Each surgeon has their own guidelines when it comes to postoperative care. Ask your surgeon what they recommend for you. Good luck and be safe.
Thank you for your question. I generally recommend waiting until all the swelling is down before engaging in sexual activity. So typically two weeks would be fine. However, I would not recommend a lot breast manipulation as part of your sexual activities until you are closer to six weeks.
Basically I tell women that they can return to sexual activity when they are comfortable. After breast augmentation we want to protect the incisions and avoid external trauma for the first three weeks or so, and then be relatively careful with everything until everything is really settled at two months. So, basically, take it slow and if it hurts, stop... No restrictions after two months.
Typically patients can return to sexual activity as they feel comfortable. It is important to not manipulate the breast excessively or apply too much pressure. Be mindful of new incisions and any remaining sutures. Your surgeon is the best person to advise you when resuming activities as he/she is most familiar with how you've been progressing through recovery.
I discuss sex preoperatively. Any physical activity performed too early can be detrimental to your healing. Most women can safely lie on their back.As long as your partner is gentle with your breasts, you should be fine. Limit pectoral muscle use for 3 weeks after breast augmentation.
The 10cc of difference you are referring to is less than 10% of the total volume in both implants, which represents the threshold of general perceptions of size variation. I doubt you will be able to have the ability to tell whether the 325cc or the 335cc implants are used, once they have...
It sounds like after 4 consultations, and after trying on sizers, that you've narrowed your choice of implant size down to 750-800. In my experience with transgender breast augmentation, this is a common size implant to use. For genetic females, my average implant, here in Seattle, is...
If you look a little further outside of the city, you can find excellent surgeons with lower fees due to lower overhead. In Spartanburg, about an hour south of you, we charge 5000 for silicone and 6300 for "gummies". With this in mind, it is usually not wise to try to find the "cheapest"...
There are several things that can give the symptoms you describe, none of them abnormal. It is likely the implant your feeling, possible some folds that come and go. It could be soft tissue that folds over the implant in different ways. If it were earlier post op I it can be pockets of air or...
There will not be a noticeable difference in clothing with 50 cc's. It is much better to accurately discuss implant volume and projection with an in office exam and detailed measurements. In order to make an accurate size recommendation, I would need to assess your chest wall and breast...
Dear FitGirl_92, Thank you for your clinical post and important question. As you only had surgery two-and-a-half to three weeks ago, it is extremely common to have asymmetry in the breasts with respect to healing, swelling and the perception of even internal breast movement. By providing...
