This is to help reduce your risk for bleeding, bruising, and swelling during and after having your Cellfina treatment. We encourage our patients to sit, and even rock back and forth; as this will help to expel the tumescent fluid that is injected for numbing prior to the treatment. Our patients experience this "leakage" for about 24 hours, so we recommend to bring spanx with you, or black leggings to put on afterwards. Swelling is very common for most patients and just like with any cosmetic procedure, is only temporary and should resolve over about 2-3 weeks. You can travel as soon as 3 days after having it done.
