Can my upper fat pockets under breast be eliminated with a tummy tuck? (Photo)

Thank you for your question and based on your picture you seem to be a great candidate for a full tummy tuck with liposuction of upper abdomen, sides, upper and lower back, always see a board certified PS.

It is wonderful what you have achieved after the weight loss.You have developed saggy skin abdomen, pubic, laterally and you will be a great candidate for a Lower Body Lift with Muscle repair, pubic lift and probably buttocks lift (not just a Tummy Tuck), and the outcome will be great!!The attachments we all have from the skin to the deep fascia are the ones holding the skin and creating those rolls on your upper abdomen, torso and back, so you must acknowledge that the Tummy Tuck will NOT improve those attachments, specially laterally. TT might improve the mid-central abdominal attachments but not lateral ones. Those mostlikely will improve doing an upper Body Lift (bra-line incision) and sometimes liposuction make them thinner and less obvious but not tighter. Be encouraged!!! Congratulations on your weight loss! This can best be answered during the in person physical exam. In experienced hands- the Surgeon will have a plan to address this challenging area. It is highly likely that these areas can be significantly reduced -if not -eliminated by surgical techniques available to the experienced Board Certified PS.

Hi Katie. I think you’re a good candidate for a tummy tuck surgery. This will help with your loose skin in the abdomen and pubic area. It will help your upper tummy rolls, but you may need to do some liposuction of the upper tummy and bra rolls for a better result. Liposuction must be done carefully in order not to risk damaging the blood supply to your tummy tuck incision. See at least 3 plastic surgeons before having surgery. Good luck. Dr. Aldo

First of all congratulations on your weight loss. For optimal results, I recommend a full tummy tuck combined with a full body contouring. I would suggest liposuction on your back and flanks as well. You have choices, but definitely you must be evaluated first to accomplish what you wish. Consult with a certified plastic surgeon.

Looking at your photos I might say that you´ll be a great candidate to get an entire back, waist and flanks liposuction, with BBL, and tummy tuck, this is because all the extra skin located in this areas plus your abdominal muscle needs to be repaired.

Before all this, of course, you need to get a complete medical evaluation and laboratory exams to check everything is fine. Also please try to find a board certified plastic surgeon, remember that your safety, always, is going to be first.
