Bad Botox on forehead, when will my eyes go back to normal?

Question

I did ulthera, Botox on forehead. On day 6, my nose shape became sharper and nose implant became obvious (I did rhinoplasty before). My eye shape changes, seems I look really sleepy. I think for my eyes should be due to bad Botox injection. As I did eyelid surgery plus ptosis correction before, anyone knows whether it just matter of time for my eyes to back to normal or I have to revise my eyes again? Anyone know what procedures make my skin around my nose became tighter! I am so depressed!

Thank you for your post, and I am sorry you are not having the results you were looking for. If your Botox is injected too close to the wrong portions of the peri-ocular musculature, or if you have a low brow to start with it, unwanted side effects can happen after your injections begin to kick in after about 4-7 days. The Botox can drift into unintended areas and cause "eye droop" or eyebrow drop. It is difficult to tell without seeing before and after photos. But still it is best to follow up with your injector and discuss your concerns as you may have to wait it out or be given a Rx for eyedrops which can help reverse the adverse effects. Always see an experienced, Board Certified injector for the best results.

Hello susaki12. In regard to the sleepy appearance of your eyes, this can occur following Botox treatment of the forehead, particularly if the injections are placed too low and cause the brows to descend. This can also cause the upper eyelid skin to bunch up, and overall give a "sleepy" or ptotic appearance. This would be expect to return to normal as the Botox wears off, but could take as long as 3-4 months. If you received injections directly above or around the upper eyelid itself, the Botox could be affecting the upper eyelid muscles and causing true eyelid ptosis. In that case, there are prescription eye drops that can help until the Botox wears off. I recommend communicating with your injector/physician. In regard to the nose, it is difficult to know the cause without seeing you in person and knowing what Ulthera treatment you received.
