You can definitely rule out a teardrop implant. Teardrop implants come and go in popularity over the years. Invariably they turn out to be a bad idea

I would suggest using smooth round implants placed behind the muscle for best coverage of the implants, good support to the implants and nice upper breast fullness without being too round. Plus, smooth implants have less long-term risks.

Behind, or under the muscle, is also necessary for the most natural look. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants, if interested, and they choose what looks right for them. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes.
