Hi I got my breast implant 6 years ago do I still need to take Amoxicillin before the dentist for the rest of my life thank you

Yes, take oral antibiotics prior to any dental visit and a complete course should you come down with a bacterial infection.  You do not want bacteria around your implants.

Hi lxchannel33,It depends on the dental treatment - if it is for a dental abscess or perhaps a root canal treatment then it is advisable to take antibiotics beforehand.It is not necessary if it is a routine visit, or if you're having a tooth filled.Hope this is helpful.
