I am confused as some clinics state that "PicoSure is NOT able to treat cosmetic tattoos..." while other clinics on-line state they can? I am based in the UK and can not find a clinic that offers laser eyebrow tattoo removal using the 'PicoSure' laser system so assume that it can not remove eyebrow (cosmetic) tattoos? Also is there a chance of your eyebrow turning black with this type of laser system? Thanks in advance :)

Answer: Eyebrow and Eyeliner Tattoos The capacity to treat eyebrow and eyeliner tattoo depends on the colour. Black and dark blue pigment responds well to any Q-Switched laser thought the Picosure is likely to require less treatment sessions. If the tattooing is green or light blue, then Picosure treatment is outstandingly successful. Our clinic has safely and successfully treated many eyebrow and eyeliner tattoos. On the other hand if the pigment contains Iron or Titanium - red to flesh coloured tints or attempts have been made over tattoo with flesh tint, then there is a high risk of blackening, making laser treatment unsuitable. Treatment of eyebrow and eyeliner in particular requires actual treatment by a Doctor (medical practitioner - ideally a specialist) who has been trained in the insertion of internal eye shields and is experience in eyelid surgery. If the clinic does not have a suitably trained and experienced individual, they are wise not to offer treatment of the eye region.
