Dear KaranThank you for your question and photograph.Certainly one would expect the scabs to be off by now as long as they are not allowed to dry out.I would advise that you contact your provider and get proper aftercare instructions as for CO2 these are very important.Kind Regards Dr Dinesh Maini
Thank you for your question karon55.Fractional CO2 laser resurfacing is anoutstanding treatment that can address multiple aspects of aging in a singletreatment. Recovery after such a treatment can take up to two weeks, or sometimes longer. For my patients I recommend using the Avene Thermal spray water and applying a thin layer of the Elta MD Intense moisturizer several times per day for the first one to two weeks after a treatment to speed up the recovery. Alternatives include Vasline and Aquaphor. Please consult with a doctor forspecific recommendations. Good luck!
Healing after CO2 may take up to 2 weeks, most of us on this Board would bring patients back for follow up, and give them crystal clear skin care instructions. You must moisturise more. See your specialist who performed this procedure as we all have our ways of post operative care. Kind regards,Dr Davin Lim. Brisbane. Australia.
