C02 laser is considered the gold standard for skin rejuvenation.  It has been in the marketplace for over 20 years, and the technology has  improved greatly over the years.  The ultrapulse c02 is the most efficient device, as it removes a later of tissue efficiently, without creating char.  This efficient removal of tissue allows for even and consistent healing.  Most patients who undergo skin resurfacing are able to wear a light powder makeup in about a week.  Cost range from 3-5 thousand dollars depending on the type of anesthesia used, and the areas treated

Thank you for your question semaynorhardy. Fractional CO2 laser resurfacing is an
outstanding treatment that can address multiple aspects of aging in a single
treatment. In our office we provide numbing cream and oral medications to keep our patients comfortable during the treatment. Most patients rate the discomfort anywhere from 1 to 5 on a scale of 0-10. Recovery can be 1-2 weeks depending on how aggressive the treatment is and the area. The face heals faster that anywhere else on the body. Most people have a single treatment. However, depending on a persons goals and desires, some choose to have a second treatment approximately three months after the first treatment. For certain conditions such as thick or deep scars, even more treatments may be necessary. I am not familiar with pricing in South Carolina. However you can click the link above for more information.
