Can the nose change or improve shape after rhinoplasty?

I had Rhinoplasty surgery 2 weeks ago. Previously my nose was nice and straight, however now my nose is smaller and has a curve to it with a high raised tip. Would my nose change shape and straighten out?

I would suggest that if you are concerned with how your nose is healing after your rhinoplasty that you speak to your surgeon sooner than the one year post op. You are still in the healing process and your nose will continue to change slightly in appearance however, this will not be drastic after this amount of time. If you are unhappy and the surgeon agrees that the result is not satisfactory as per your consultation and agreed expectations, it is likely that he will be able to perform a revision.

Thank you very much for enquire.It's too early to make value judgments with only 2 weeks after a rhinoplasty.Swelling after a rhinoplasty depends of the surgery complexity.In this regard, the nasal swelling Post-op It can last from two weeks to two months.To reduce this swelling, I recommend you perform delicates daily lymphatic drainage massage therapy over the face (around the nose) avoid sun exposure, and take pain/inflamation pills, as your surgeron precribe you.Kind regards, Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-
