Breasts never properly developed. I have very little breast tissue and am of slim/athletic build but want to get small implants that look very natural. Would 200cc be too small for my height? And would round implants show up more as I have no breast tissue?
Answer: Right implant size and placement for natural looking breasts Thank you for your enquiry and photo. You are right, you do have minimal breast tissue but you also seem to have slightly asymmetrical breasts, which can be addressed by opting for two different sizes of implants. As for the implant size that would give you a “natural” result, I suggest that you consult a plastic surgeon and be assessed in person. In addition to your height, width of shoulders and hips, there are various measurements of your chest that are important factors in determining the implant size range that would fit your frame and give you the most natural results. If I were to suggest implant sizes based on your photo alone, I would say a range between 180cc-240cc, and submuscular placement would provide you with the most natural result. With the right type to placement, both round and teardrop shaped implants produce natural looking results, IF chosen based on the patient’s suitability. Wish you all the best. Allen Rezai M.D.

Answer: Implant size Choosing the right size implant depends on any number of factors, all of which require an in person exam. My best advise would be for you to schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon in your area to discuss your options and "try out" different sizes to see which look best suits your desired outcome. Answer: Size I would suggest meeting with a board certified plastic surgeon, being measured, and trying on a range of sizes that best fits your frame and tissue. A 200cc implant might be the size you would like.

Answer: Picking the size Hi. It's possible to get a very natural result, either with teardrop or round implants, if they are proportional to your frame, not excessive in their projection or volume. Most of my cosmetic patients in Florida prefer the round implant shape. Based on your height, I would think that the 200 cc volume would be a little too conservative. And while it is hard to recommend for you without examining you, my guess is that something more in the 275-300 cc range would work better, and still look very lovely and natural. But, an in-person consultation is the next step. All the best,

Answer: Anatomical and modest volume for a slim, athletic build Hi hbp123. Based on the photo, you have a very nice natural breast shape and therefore at a great starting point for breast augmentation. You are petite and therefore a small implant will go further. Therefore, 200cc could well be big enough and going for an anatomical (tear drop) implant is likely to lead to the most natural result. To get a more accurate idea of appropriate implant size, it is best to arrange a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon (BAAPS and/or BAPRAS in the UK). My approach is to give patients an opportunity to try out a range of implant sizers in clinic that match their measurements and desired outcome. Good luck!
