I am a 54 year old female. I have one eyebrow that has descended the other looks good. Is it reasonable to have an eyebrow lift to just one side? I am planning on having upper and lower blepharoplasty with fat transposition, lower facelift with neck lift and fat injections. I have a crease on my forehead over the descended eyebrow due to my face trying to compensate for this. I appreciate all responses.
Answer: Correction of brow asymmetry Endoscopic brow lift is a good way to correct your deformity. However, only based on in-person evaluation would one be able to check whether your asymmetry may be due to underlying eyelid ptosis on the side where your brow is higher.

Answer: Consider Botox + Filler For A Nonsurgical Eyebrow Lift Before jumping into invasive, expensive surgeries that also have risks for scarring (see all the complaints by Realself readers) and prolonged downtimes, you might wish to consider the Botox and fillers for a nonsurgical browlift. In experienced hands, the filler effect is immediate and the Botox effect seen in one to seven days following treatment--with both procedures engendering little to no significant downtime. As a aside, once again in the hands of an experienced injector, fillers can be used to improve the lower lids and smooth the cheeklid margin and then there is the Nonsurgical Filler Necklift. While fat holds the promise of long-lasting results, the reality is often more disappointing. Much of the transplanted fat, separated from its original blood supply, does not survive, and that fat which does retains the characteristics of the region from which the donor material is taken. This means that if your belly fat develops a midriff bulge with aging, so, to, can the belly fat transplanted to the under-eyes. You would be wise to see consultation with a board certified cosmetic dermatologist filler expert. Hope this helps and best of luck.

Answer: Coronal browlift I recommend a coronal browlift on both sides. This will lower your hairline and decrease the distance between your eyebrows and hairline to make you look younger. It is best to correct asymmetry with both side simultaneously. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Unilateral dissent of eyebrow is it reasonable to have eyebrow lift on just one side The height of your eyebrows is acceptable, and if you did a brow lift, you would look much too surprised. You could try placing a little Botox on the higher eyebrow. A fat transposition can be done on the just the upper lids to reduce the puffiness on the inner corners of your upper eyelids, and fill in more central upper eyelid hollowness. In our practice, we remove the fat bags on the lower lids to rejuvenate them. We also do not recommend fat injections into the face for a variety of reasons. Choose your facial plastic surgeon wisely based on lots of experience producing natural results. Study your prospective surgeon's before and after photo gallery for all the procedures you're interested in and make sure that that gallery is extensive with results that you like
