Droopy brows after blepharoplasty - should I get a brow lift?

Question

Is it common to need a brow lift after undergoing multiple eyelid surgeries? I initially had a ptosis surgery that ended up with overcorrection in that eye and droopiness in the other eye. I then underwent a revision surgery that resulted in significant hooding, no visible eyelid and eyelid retraction. Instead of looking more youthful, I now have very unattractive, elderly looking eyes. How many surgeries are reasonable to have a surgeon perform before looking elsewhere?

Without in person evaluation or a series of good before and after photos it would be difficult to give you meaningful opinion. Brow lift may not have much to do with eyelid surgery in general!

Hello, hope you are well. Thanks for posting some of your history and questions. You may have the answer to your last question already--consider a second opinion if you are not satisfied with your experience (there is no magic number). There's no harm in gaining other advice/perspective, and you may still decide to stick with your primary surgeon. A brow lift can certainly help with hooding to some extent, but deciding whether it's right for you and what type of brow lift should be done is nuanced. That decision needs to take into account your goals, expectations, appearance, anatomy, etc--all things that should be explored during an in-person consultation.

Much more information is needed, such as a full set of facial and eyebrow photographs from all angles to make sure you're a candidate for a brow lift procedure.
