I month post op Rhinoplasty, I have uneven nostrils and incision scars, can this be fixed? (photo)

Dear Elawson,I agree with the other docs that it is very early to judgeThe scars near the nostrils will look the worst around a month out, they will lighten up over the next several months to year (did you have a nostril reduction?)Also, expecting a perfect result might be a stretch, you can find at least one detail wrong with every single nose out there (including models and celebrities)Just hang tight and wait it out, it will improve significantly over the next several monthsBest,Nima Shemirani

It's too early to tell about postoperative asymmetries that will be permanent. Considering the stage of convalescence. It looks as though you're going to get a good result. Nevertheless you need to wait a good number of months before drawn final conclusions.

A scar fully mature in 18 months. Also swelling and edema  are still present at 6 months, so 1 month post-op is really too early to draw any definite conclusion on how your nostrils will look like. Truly your nose looks pretty good for 1 month post-op. 

Rhinoplasty, or nose job as some people refer to the procedure, takes about one year before you will see the true final result.  In that time you can expect to see minor assymetries and/or differences in shape especially over the first few weeks and even months.  Your photo suggests that you have a very acceptable result that will be very pleasing with time.I hope that helps.Best regards.
