In general, smoking is not good for you, and if you recently had surgery, it is not good for wound healing. Best of luck.

I would suggest personally that you not smoke after nasal surgery. It is most likely that your paper pen that doesn't have nicotine may not cause any problems. However the potential risk is there and I would prefer to avoid it given your investment in your procedure. I would certainly recommend that you check with your board-certified plastic surgeon before continuing to smoke.
