So I am debating on having the operation because of the fact I wrestle and the risk of reinjuring the septum. After surgery I will not wrestle and let my nose heal for 4-6 months after surgery. Some questions I would like answered include, what are the chance of reinjuring the repaired septum? Will my nose be sensitive to contact out on the wrestling mats? How strong will my nose be? And I would like the overal doctors opinion on my situation.
