What is this bump above my lip and how can this be fixed? (photos)

I had lip filler for the first time two years ago. After the swelling and even after much of the HA dissolved, I was left with this elevated area above my lip which is just not going away. The person who injected me refused to see me and comment on this. Any ideas? My lip is disfigured and I am desperate for some insight into how to fix it.

Hello, and thanks for your question. I believe you are a great candidate for lip filler on your bottom lip. It may not totally take the overbite away (because you don't want to overdo it), but it will certainly help. Make sure you are going to an experienced board-certified plastic surgeon....
Dermal fillers can subtly increase the overall length of your lips and also help support the corners of the mouth to give them that upturned look. Neuromodulator (like Botox or Dysport) can also help by temporarily relaxing the muscle that pulls the corners of the mouth down.
