4000 grafts were transplanted 9 months ago. Should I expect better result at 9 months? (Photos)

It may take six to twelve months to appreciate the results of a hair transplant surgery.  If you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor.Someone with your hair loss pattern may be perfectly happy with 4000 grafts, while others may not be happy even with over 8000 grafts.  You also have to realize keep your hair short will NOT help with the overall result.  Straight black hair on fair skin results in a thinner appearing outcome then someone with curly blond hair on fair skin.   I hope you can appreciate there are many factors to your end result than just a "number" of grafts.

At 9 month months patient's are generally at about 85% growth. So you should see some slight improvement going forward all the way up until 18 months. 

You may see improvement for the next few months.  I suggest you wait a full year, then return to see your surgeon, review preop photos and discuss what's next.

At 9 months after a hair transplant you should see 95% of what you would expect will grow. If you are unhappy with this, go back and see your doctor
