Is it safe for me to have Coolsculpting treatment on my chin area if I have Crohn's disease?

Hi, I am thinking about having a Coolsculpting treatment on my chin area. My concerns are that I have Crohn's disease, a long-term condition where my gut becomes inflamed. I am on medication but they lower my immune system. Please can you let me know if it is safe for me to have the Cryo Lipo treatment. I have been told by a clinic I can, but I am concerned it may affect my health. Many thanks.

Hello and thank you for your question. I would consult with your doctor and ask them if it is OK to do CoolSculpting. If they give you the green light, you will just need to bring a doctor's note to the clinic that is performing the CoolSculpting.

there shoudnt be a reason why you cannot get coolsculpting, but you need to get it cleared by your medical physician, I find that liposuction or facetite is easier and faster and gives more neck contouring. trusculpt ID has less inflammation than coolscupting. Best, Dr. Emer.

It is safe to get CoolSculpting even if you have Chron's Disease. CoolSculpting is generally only unsafe if you have a hernia, in which case you should hold off. CoolSculpting and Chron's Disease have no interactions with each other.
