I need to know what surgical solutions are available to me in order to decrease the size of my forehead?

If you have a "big" forehead and would like a treatment options, see a doctor for a proper examination.  Your doctor can give you options such as hair line lowering surgery or hair transplant surgery.

In general, given your young age and risk of losing more hair in the future, at most a conservative course would be indicated, unlikely hairline lowering surgery due to the risk of a visible scar in the future, but instead conservative hair grafting, in conjunction with medical therapy to prevent the progression of hair loss.

For patients with a receding hairline due to male pattern baldness, forehead reduction surgery is not the best option because it requires a scar along the frontal hairline. In the correct patient, this scar will be hidden by the hairs in the frontal hairline and can be quite imperceptible. But for males with a history of hair loss, the scar will be noticeable as the frontal hairline recedes. The best treatment for a large forehead with receded hairline is a hair transplant because in time, you might find that your recession will increase and you may need another hair transplant as you get older
