In general, given your young age and risk of losing more hair in the future, at most a conservative course would be indicated, unlikely hairline lowering surgery due to the risk of a visible scar in the future, but instead conservative hair grafting, in conjunction with medical therapy to prevent the progression of hair loss.

For patients with a receding hairline due to male pattern baldness, forehead reduction surgery is not the best option because it requires a scar along the frontal hairline.
