I fractured my cheekbone several years ago, but it was not corrected by surgery at the hospital, as it was considered to be a 'mild depression' and my functionality was not affected. It didn't look too noticeable at the time (as it was still swollen), but as I've aged it has become more pronounced. Now my cheek has a definite flatness/hollow on that side and my face looks asymmetrical. Can it be treated with filler or fat? If so, what would be best, and what sort of doctor or surgeon should I see?

This sounds like the infraorbital nerve was injured during injection. Don't know if the foramen was injected causing pressure on the nerve or the nerve was injured by the needle. In any case, I would treat this as a trigeminal neuralgia, and you are on one of the medications used for this....
