Endonasal lip lift or not? (Photos)

My filtrum lenght is 20cm and I want to reduce it just a bit (I already have some gummy smile). I 've consulted a plastic surgeon who suggested me to have an endonasal lip lift. But I' ve read that it is not preferable, because it may change the nostril shape (in my case, my nostrils are already wide). Is this the right method fot my case?
