Correction of excess alar nostril size or flaring, can be corrected with alar base reduction. However, this does warrant an external base scar which in a high majority of patients is almost imperceptible long term.

Yes, you can narrow the nostrils, but the nose will become slightly upturned. So you will need to have some tipwork to prevent the nose from becoming "piggy". The tip can be thinned out (defatted) and some muscles at the tip removed and the cartilage at the tip reinforced so that it doesn't plunge down and widen upon smiling.

Alar base modification can be performed with a combination of Weir and sill incisions in conjunction, or separately.  The shape, flare and width of your nostrils can be modified.  Examining your pictures, I don't think alar base modification alone will reduce the "fleshiness" of your nose to your satisfaction.  

This is a common request amongst ethnic patients.  Alar base reduction can reduce the width of your nostrils as well as flaring, especially with smiling.  Please consult with a board certified specialist who can assist you in achieving the results you seek.

An alarplasty can treat width and flare of the nostrils.  Fleshiness has to do with the thickness of the soft tissue envelope.  It sometimes can be reduced.
