Hemosederin staining from qwo - best option? (Photo)

Hello! Three months ago I had the first of 3 (I only completed one) qwo injections - 24 to buttocks and thighs. After four weeks it was clear I had Hemosiderin staining. I’ve tried the acid tablets prescribed and genesis laser. I have light skin. Has anyone had total resolution with another option? Or total resolution after even more time with no intervention? This is beyond disappointing and in person, worse than the cellulite was. Thanks

Initiative, I am sorry to learn of the  side effect / complication of your treatment. Hemosiderin Staining is tough to treat and it may be tougher to treat if it is in the deep layers of the dermis. Q switched laser can be effective treatment for Hemosiderin staining. It is also possible that it may improve or resolve over time.  I recommend you consult with a laser specialist with Q switched laser experience. Wishing you the best of health, Dr Wright.
