Hemosederin staining from qwo - best option? (Photo)

Hello! Three months ago I had the first of 3 (I only completed one) qwo injections - 24 to buttocks and thighs. After four weeks it was clear I had Hemosiderin staining. I’ve tried the acid tablets prescribed and genesis laser. I have light skin. Has anyone had total resolution with another option? Or total resolution after even more time with no intervention? This is beyond disappointing and in person, worse than the cellulite was. Thanks

I do not recommend waiting on weight loss before getting QWO . In fact it may be better to have the QWO treatment before the weight loss. Wishing you the best of health, Dr Wright.

Courageous , Qwo main ingredient is Collagenase which is an enzyme that dissolves collagen. The recommendation against exercise after Qwo are to prevent the enzyme from going where it is not intended. I hope this helps . Wishing you the best of health, Dr Wright.

Qwo is FDA approved to treat cellulite on the buttocks. It can be used on other areas on the body where tethering cellulite can occur, such as the thighs and even the arms. Care must be taken to make sure the cause of skin irregularity is tethering cellulite and not from skin laxity which are...

Lynn Thank you for sharing your photo. From your photos I can see the Cellulite dimples. The dimples or dents appear to tethered and not from laxity. If a proper exam confirms this , QWO would be the simplest and most effective treatment. I don't think more fat transferred or Sculptra or other...

QWO is a Collagenase injection FDA approved for the treatment of Cellulite. It can be used for off label uses. I am not aware of any reports of Qwo use for the treatment of liposuction fibrosis deformity. However, it is conceivable that Qwo may be helpful in the treatment of liposuction...
