Do I need to lose weight before I can get Qwo?

Question

I would like to have QWO for cellulite on the back of my thighs. I have about 35lb. to lose. Do I need to wait to have QWO til I get the 35lb off or can I start treatment now?

I do not recommend waiting on weight loss before getting QWO . In fact it may be better to have the QWO treatment before the weight loss.  Wishing you the best of health, Dr Wright.

Cellulite forms when fibrous bands connecting your skin to the underlying muscle tighten irregularly. This tightening pulls down on your skin, and the normal layer of fat pushes upward beneath the skin, resulting in a puckering appearance to the skin. Weight loss, diet and exercise can help improve the appearance of cellulite, along with many aesthetic treatments. One doesn't have to lose weight necessarily to start QWO treatments; the desired treatment effect(s) are seen mostly after the 3rd treatment (every 30 days between treatments). Also, Endoaesthetics only markets QWO to treat cellulite in the buttocks, not thighs; however, many providers will go "off label" to treat behind the thighs as well as other affected areas.
