Cellulite or lax skin? Can this only be treated with Qwo? (Photo)

Question

I have seen two people (a surgeon and a nurse injector) and both claimed that these horizontal lines on my thighs are long cellulite bands that could be eliminated with only a couple rounds of qwo. I am worried after seeing such bad reviews on qwo and only about 50% of people saying it's worth it. I am also not sure if this is actually bands or if this is likely lax skin. Any advice?? (Please overlook the small lump on my left buttocks as that is herniated fat from a past injury and not part of the horizontal lines I am talking about)

Sunshinestate,  Thank you for sharing your photo.  I have a good deal of experience with Qwo and Liposuction and treatment of buttock / banana roll problems. From your photo, I tend to agree with you and think that you back side may have more problem with laxity and decent than tethering from  Cellulite and fibrous bands. If that is the case you are not a good candidate for Qwo treatment. However the photo is only part of the information used in deciding to treat. Did the surgeon at least lift your buttocks to check for laxity?  If there are no signs of laxity on the physical exam and the surgeon can appreciate tethering bands on the exam, then Qwo is a reasonable option for you. You definitely don’t have loose skin. There’s also nothing wrong with your body because what appears to be cellulite, is actually a very small number of cellulite like indents that are exposed to a very bright light from above, casting a shadow and making everything look much worse than it actually is.
