I have been left with major post liposuction fibrosis that not even a tummy tuck could thoroughly resolve. I wonder if QWO could help make it a bit better? Also could it help with hard scars? Thank you

Answer: Qwo Thanks for your question. Qwo is currently only FDA-approved for use in the treatment of moderate to severe cellulite in the buttocks of adult women. It works by dissolving the bands of connective tissue that cause the dimpling of cellulite. Its efficacy and safety for the use of post-liposuction fibrosis or use in the abdomen have not been studied. Qwo is new to the market. However, in general, within the practice of medicine, physicians can use products off-label. I do not know if anyone would feel comfortable using Qwo off-label in the manner you described. I recommend that you see a fully-trained plastic surgeon for further evaluation and for discussion of different options, and their risks, benefits, and alternatives, to treat your concerns.
