It takes longer than 1 year for rhinoplasty result to settle and mature. This particularely applies to tip and supratip areas. Taping overnight and, if needed, corticosteroid injection may help. Try to be patient. Hope this helps.

Along the way to the final result there will be days where the tip appears more swollen, and days when it appears less swollen. sleeping with your face down may lead to more swelling when you get up in the morning. A large salt intake such as a very large Chinese food meal may lead to more swelling. in females the nose may swell slightly more when they are premenstrual. These are just a few of the factors which will fluctuate from day today during the healing phase. So it is normal to see variations from better days to worst days.
