Filler in nasolabial fold; not dissolving, area getting increasingly hard and lumpy after each hylenex treatment (Photo)

Based on your concerns, I recommend continuing treatment with Hylenex to dissolve the remaining filler and/or starting treatment with a CO2 laser to help resurface the skin and improve the texture. Dissolving filler with Hylenex does not interfere with the skin's ability to respond to future treatments or its natural collagen production process. I hope this helps and best of luck!

It is quite possible that the lack of response to Hylenex may relate to the fact that the nodule is Fibrotic at this point, rather than merely filler material. If this is the case then it would be prudent to try to shrink the nodule with intralesional injections of anti-inlammatory agents, such as triamcinolone +/- 5-FU. You would be wise to consult with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist. Hope this helps and best of luck.
