If you're experiencing filler complications, botched filler, needing filler dissolved, or just want the most precise, careful injector you've ever met, book with Dr. Shaden Mohammad immediately. I came to her after a really stressful experience with another injector left me with swelling, blurred vision, temple pressure, and a lot of uncertainty. From the moment I walked in, Dr. Shaden's bedside manner was calm, grounded, and completely reassuring.. the opposite of the rushed, sales-y vibe you get at so many med spas. As a qualified, practicing radiologist, her skill level is unlike any injector i've ever had in the past. She spent half an hour just looking at my veins and arteries in my face with her ultrasound, and was so empathetic. She gave me a very considered and careful recommendation on where she would dissolve, and she did it so carefully. Because of the placement of the filler in so many layers of my tissue (i'm now so mad at my former injector) she had to go slowly, and it took 2 hours and 3 vials to dissolve my left cheek. It takes some time for the dissolver to work. After 48 hours, I still had a tension headache in my temple, even though the artery in my cheek was now pumping blood again. I reached out to Dr Mohammad and she fit me in late on a weekend because she was concerned more filler needed dissolving. She spent another hour with me, being super careful and kind and dissolved the remaining filler. She has checked in on me often to make sure i'm doing okay. She's so kind and I keep thinking to myself "god sent an angel to help me". Because no plastic surgeon I spoke to gave me confidence they could actually understand what was happening internally. And going to the hospital wouldn't have gotten me anywhere. I've never felt so safe, supported, and well-cared-for during a cosmetic procedure. What could've been a really scary experience turned into one of the most positive, empowering medical visits I've ever had. If you're thinking of seeing her, do it. I'll never let anyone else near my face again. I hope this helps!
I'm sorry to hear about your experience thus far and that you are losing hope. It perhaps is related to undertreatment with the hyaluronidase. We also have found that 1-2 vials of hyaluronidase may be needed for the under eyes. Best of luck!
I'm sorry to hear about your filler experience. Ultrasound is able to help identify dermal filler, even if it is not a discrete lump and for targeted ultrasound guided filler dissolve. We are located in Woodland Hills, CA and specialize in ultrasound-guided dermal filler dissolves. All my best, Dr. Shaden, Luminous Medical Aesthetics
Dermal fillers are easier to identify with ultrasound and MRI than on CT scan. Dermal filler is pretty subtle on CT scan and the tip of the nose is such a small and confined space, I'm not surprised it was not identified with CT scan. Ultrasound, in experienced hands, has the benefit of allowing real time guidance of the needle to do targeted dissolve. All my best, Dr. Shaden, Woodland Hills, CA
Is there a provider near your location performing ultrasound-guided filler dissolve? The targeted approach may help identify the problematic filler and give more successful and effective dissolve results. Best of luck, Dr. Shaden, Woodland Hills, CA
Findings may relate to dermal filler located near nerve branches. We've had patients present with numbness after filler placement in the chin/jawline. Using ultrasound, we noted dermal filler near the mental foramen which contains important nerves and blood vessels . The blood vessels were patent- so no vascular occlusion fortunately. Using ultrasound-guidance, we do targeted filler dissolve. The patients have noted improvement in their symptoms of numbness after the filler near the foramen was dissolved. Wish you all the best!
