Sometimes temporary gel fillers can lead to scar tissue and nodules that do not readily dissipate. Since this is a temporary gel filler and attempt at dissolving the bumps with the dissolving enzyme may be a reasonable first step. Additionally, dilute triamcinolone acetonide injections may also be helpful for reducing scar tissue that may form around your filler. I hope this helps and I wish you well moving forward. At nine months, most of the product should be caught by now.
Fillers can leave long-term residual volume that is not explained by the presence of product alone.
We don’t really have a good explanation why this sometimes happens, but it is most likely due to small amounts of inflammation That creates scar tissue.
Reversing the fillers at this time is unlikely to make a big difference.
