Responsive gel versus soft touch. Which one is firmer?

I'm selecting Inspira's extra high profile, which comes in two gel types: responsive gel and soft touch. Which one is firmer? I will appreciate your feedback. Hearfelt thanks.

Hello,Only soft touch available in the US. (gel firmness of 2)More importantly, gel firmness is not the only thing that dictates breast firmness. A much more important factor is the scar you form around your implant (capsule). So, be sure your surgeon takes all measures to lower your risk of tight scaring/capsular contracture, including using an inframammary incision, not a periareolar incision.Best of luck!

Soft touch is the firmer option. It is also called Truform 2 or form stable.I use both extensively in my Canadian practice and in rare cases use one of each in a single patient (to correct certain asymmetries). There is very little difference in feel between the two and only a slight difference in appearance. The soft touch gel can give a little more roundness to the breast and also might have slightly less rippling or scalloping.In the extra-full projecting Inspira line, there is very little difference between soft touch and responsive so I would suggest going with whatever implant your surgeon suggests. Also, the Soft Touch (Truform 2) version is not currently available in the United States so there may not be an option for you.I do hope this helps.

Despite their names, the soft touch gel is firmer. As a side note, Allergan now calls Raponsive and Soft Touch with the names of TruForm 1 and 2 gels, on a scale where the higher the number the more cohesive the gel.
