Too much Juvederm in the vermillion border? Can I massage the filler further into the lip to avoid exaggerated border? (photo)

Had my lips injected with juvederm 2 weeks ago by same person that’s done them the last 5x but this time she only filled in the border of my lips giving me “duck lips” Is it possible to massage the filler further into the actual lip to fix this look? How do I avoid this happening again? Should i request the filler go into the vermillion, only? Thanks
