Is ptosis repair surgery a good idea for those with prominent eyes? (Photo)

So I have droopy upper eyelids and lower eyelids. I am 26 but my eyes look 50. Now I also have prominent and bulging eyes. Have no history of thyroid disease but it is genetic, all my siblings do. I was thinking if getting ptosis repair surgery will make my eyes look even more prominent? I hate it too much though. Anytime I wear makeup and eyeliner and eyelashes they all look like they are falling downwards.
