Dexamethasone induced ptosis, is this issue permanent?

Hello, I unconsciously used Ciloxan pomade for eye chalazion for about 2.5 months, without the supervision of a doctor. After the surgery, I used maxidex and maxidex for about 3 weeks and unfortunately I had ptosis.I stopped using everything the day after I realized the situation. My doctor recommended me Benexol and told me to watch it 6 months. My question is; is this issue permanent? Have you ever seen such problem on ur patients? What you recommend?

Thanks for sharing your question and posting your photo. Your eyelid asymmetry is minimal. Your probably should leave it alone. If you want minimal improvement then conservative blepharoplasty would be the best option. See an experienced oculoplastic surgeon for consultation. Good luck!
