Is this normal 15 days after blepharoplasty? Will the open suture heal? (Photo)

Im 14 days post op my doctor removes my right eye sutures on the 11th day but a hall was there on my eye corner he put plaster on it ,the left eye thread wont come out and my doc said the wound still not healing he gives me appointment for tomorrow he will try to remove sutures,im really scared

Hi there, It does not appear that you have much of a skin fold currently.  I cannot see your brows in that picture, but if they relax, the fold may return.  The brows might be elevated because of ptosis of the upper lids.  It is possible that ptosis repair in the future, if...

Hi Lonni227,Sorry to hear of your frustration.  Your issue is not ptosis; your issue is residual fat at the “internal corner” and excess skin hooding at the “external corner.”  This is treatable with a revision procedure.Best wishes on your journey,Dr. Jay
