Hi I am 2 weeks post op and am not sure about the ends of my scar they look a little messy and creased do these look normal to you or is it to early to tell? Thanks for your replies.
Answer: TT A lot of scars look like that at the beginning. The scar has to end somewhere and the surgeon can not always keep going around to the back. This typically settles but if it does not to your satisfaction a scar revision in the office may be appropriate

Answer: Tummy tuck scar These scars look perfectly normal for this relatively short amount of time to have elapsed since surgery.

Answer: Tummy tuck scar creases and ends, do they look normal? After the excess tissue has been removed during a TT, the lower part of the incision is close to a straight line, the upper part a semi-circle. Because of the length discrepancy, there are always "gathers" or "pleats." Unlike with cloth, skin remodels, and over the course of 6-9 months these almost always disappear. As to irregularity at the ends, these also remodel. It looks like your surgeon went as far around as possible without flipping you over during surgery, so the irregularity is not unexpected. If it doesn't smooth out, it can be corrected in the office at a later date. All the best.
