Hello and thank you for your question.Based on your photo, you are a good candidate for a tummy tuck with liposuction. Schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options. Best wishes!
The answer to this question depends on your goals at the end of your recovery. In the photos you presented there is excess fat (lipodystrophy) of the abdomen and hips that can be sculpted with liposuction of the abdomen, hips and back (lipo 360). If you add an energy source such as Renuvion or Bodytite to the procedure you will get some skin retraction with the liposuction alone.I can’t completely tell from the photo because the pants are covering the lower waistline but if you have hanging skin there, the best treatment will be a tummy tuck to remove the extra skin.If you are planning to have more children I would wait for the tummy tuck and just do the liposuction for now because if you have more children it can stretch the skin out again.
Dear Forceful844255,based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a TT. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. Flanks liposuction would give you a better shape. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Thank you for your questions and photos. A tummy tuck will address excess skin & repair of the abdominal muscle. The abdominal wall can be weakened after pregnancy and (or) significant weight gain & loss. By repairing the muscle, not only does the appearance of your abdominal area improve, but your core strength as well. The repair of the muscle will cinch your waist like an inner corset, which will accentuate your curves. Liposuction will remove excess fat from unwanted areas with some skin retraction. Your expectations and health will dictate the best procedure(s) for you. I suggest a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to go over the options that best address your goals. Hello, after the pregnancy the muscle split and it’s importan to repair the dyastasis recti to make the flatter your belly, so you need extended tummy tuck, liposuccion all your back, flaks, and the muscle repair
Hi there, thanks for your question! Based on your photos I believe you are a better canidate for an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) but an in-person examination with a Board Certified Plastic surgeon would be best to confirm!
Excellent question!! 20 year olds have lots of collagen! So, because you are so young, your skin will probably contract well after losing some weight. I feel losing weight plus lipo is your best option! A tummy tuck will get you tighter. But you can probably avoid it for now especially if you are thinking of having any more children. Energy assisted liposuction can also help with skin contraction. If you are sure yo don’t want any more pregnancies and you do not want to lose the weight, then a tummy tuck with lipo is ok.Best of luck,Dr.Miguel Mota
Hello @Forceful844255, thank you for your question. If you are looking to address the excess weight in your abdomen after your pregnancy, you may want to consider both liposuction and a tummy tuck for best results. Liposuction 360 is the surgical removal of fat from all three sides of the midsection; it can help create more shapely contours as well as get rid of stubborn pockets of fat. However, I prefer to perform liposculture to achieve long terms results. On the other hand, a tummy tuck or “abdominoplasty” will involve removing excess skin and tissue from the abdominal area due to stretching during pregnancy, resulting in toned and tightened muscles with restored tightness and smooth contours to your figure. Combining these two procedures may give you optimal results desired. Is important to have a consultation to create a surgical plan according to your characteristics, needs and expectations. Hi, congrats! Thanks for your question and pics. Wait for your body to recover its weight before going to a Lipo or Tummy Tuck. After six months is too early. Wait for a year and start dieting and exercising. After that, you can have a procedure. Consult a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area for a physical exam. Good Luck!
I would suggest doing liposuction to remove the excess fat. the tummy tuck does not remove excess fat as well. also, you might have another child. Once you have had all the children you want and still have excess skin or weak muscles, then consider a tuck.
