I have no kids... All my life I have been skinny with hips and nice size butt but I hate my stomach because it has no shape(curve) my waist is 28inches and hips measure 41inches.. My stomach is very square and I want a small waist (hourglass shape) maybe a 24 25 inch waist with lipo. I want to know if it's achievable with this procedure for my body structure.
Answer: Skinny with hips and a nice butt, but I hate my stomach. Can Tumescent Liposuction give me a hourglass shape? Thanks for your question. The underlying bone structure determines the shape. When fat builds up it masks the underlying structure. By careful and selective lipo sculpturing shapes can be rediscovered or improved. Based on your photos IMHO you would be able to improve a great deal with selective lipo of the abdomen and hip, flank regions. You just include the hips and flanks to get that small waist that your wish photos reveal. In all honesty some of those photos are unrealistic given your shape. In addition, you really don't know what type of garments are being worn by those women that are wearing dresses that may accentuate certain curves.I have been performing cosmetic surgery and liposculpture and fat transfers in the Miami area for the past 29 years. Research, research and then research some more. The key is............ does the surgeon have a keen sense of aesthetics? Can he/she create a shapely, attractive hour glass figure or are they just technicians that wind up with large unshapely forms? Understand that liposuction whether SAL, PAL or UAL is not that technically challenging. However, the keen aesthetic eye will determine the eventual work of art. We are creators and have the ability to turn out beautiful works of art. Simply put................not all artists create quality work.Always seek out the opinion of a surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery with years of experience in liposuction. Furthermore request to see before and after photos of previous patients by that doctor....not a clinic or surgery center. Do your homework......research and verify the doctor's credentials. Have they had problems with the Board of Medicine, disciplinary or otherwise. Any law suits? How about the center, clinic or facility? Are they accredited by a national organization or do they just have State approval. Understand that at the current time, there are three nationally recognized organizations responsible for the highest levels of patient safety, AAAASF, AAACH and JCHO. You owe it to yourself to position yourself for the best possible results but under the most stringent safety regulations, If you have kids, even more so.How about anesthesia? Will you have a medical doctor certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology or a certified nurse anesthetist (CRNA)? Understand that there is no substitute for research. Cosmetic surgery, no matter how simple it may be to the patients, are invasive procedures and as such carry certain risks and complications. In our office we use TouchMD which is a web based program in which patients have the ability to load their picture unto the program. We can accommodate patients from as far away as California. I then evaluate them and can actually draw on the picture to show a potential patient where the incisions would be located and how the procedure is to be realized. It's all done to comply with HIPPA which is the federal law that protects the patient's medical information. Look them up.I answer all questions personally and conduct the in person consults my self.Give yourself the highest percentage of a sucssesful operation. Good luck

Answer: That depends on your bone structure below While we can often achieve great results with liposuction, sometimes the hourglass figure is just undoable due to bones below or muscles. Whatever the case, your surgeon should be able to give you an idea at the time of your consultation. Good luck!

Answer: Liposuction is reasonable but desired results are not Liposuction can help improve the contour of your abdomen. I do not believe you can obtain the hourglass figure of your desired wish pictures. The women in those pictures have a naturally wide pelvis. Your pelvis appears to be narrow.

Answer: Lipo at the waistline can enhance a natural hourglass figure, not create one from scratch. Although liposuction around the midsection has been used by many women to enhance a natural hourglass, that isn’t the same thing as using liposuction to sculpt that iconic shape where one doesn’t exist. A true hourglass is having hip and breast dimensions that are roughly equal, and a waist size that’s much smaller. If you already have a wide pelvis and curvy hips and bottom, you’re halfway there. Sometimes, combining liposuction at the waist with breast implants can be a solution for creating a more dramatic look. I recommend scheduling a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to see what options might work best for you.
