How long do you wear the foam, ab & back board with your faja? BBL

My surgeon advised it would only be necessary to wear them for two weeks, then I can wear the faja alone afterwards. However after reading more into it, it looks like most people say to keep those on, along with the faja for longer. What should I do? I’m 2 weeks post op, I tried wearing the faja alone today and it made a small dent in my stomach for the few hours I wore it. I don’t want any indents..

Thank you for your question! For my patients having a BBL procedure, I recommend that they wear the surgical garment we provide, along with the topi foam for 3 weeks 24/7, followed by 3 weeks at night only. I recommend discussing specific garment recommendations with your plastic surgeon, as each surgeon’s post op care instructions may differ. I hope this helps!

Brazilian Butt Lift recovery time is dependent on how the patient’s body reacts to the procedure. Patients usually return to work after a week but you should not sit without the use of cushions for at least two weeks and you must wear a compression garment for several weeks after the procedure. You should wait until at least 2 weeks after the procedure to engage in sexual activity. Swelling and discomfort normally fades at six weeks. After about a month you will be mostly healed and you can get a nice idea of the permanent results after around six months.
