How many liters can be taken if having a BBL and BA at the same time?

5 Liters maximum can be taken from an accredited facility performing Liposuction. This fat can be used for your BBL or discarded, but nonetheless 5 Liters will be the max. Remember to see a board certified or eligible plastic surgeon and best of luck!

It is important to remember that liposuction (irrespective of technique) is not a means of weight loss. Liposuction is a sculpting tool.
Legal limits for office based procedures are anywhere from 4-5 liters depending on the state (which equates to at most 11 lbs). One must remember that the aspirate obtained is not pure fat but a mix of fat, blood, and tumescent. The limits do not change depending upon the treatment goal (contouring vs. fat transfer). That being said, in my practice, we rarely approach this limit with the average being approximately 2 liters.It is also important to consider the fact that BBL and BA are best staggered as pressure restrictions will complicate recovery.

Thank you for your question. While you can liposuction several areas at once there is a limit to how much fat can be removed safely. Risks from liposuction increase significantly when over 5 liters of fat are suctioned out. We usually stay below this limit for patient safety. We’ve found that we’re able to achieve dramatic improvements for our patients with 2 to 4 liters of liposuction, depending on their needs.

Hi. In a combined procedure  like BBL and BA the  surgeon will be limited by your hemoglobin level prior surgery and the blood loss observed during both procedures.
