Does it look like my implant has flipped? Will this need a revision? (Photos)

Unfortunately, it is very difficult to determine whether your implant has "flipped" without a physical examination. Unfortunately, the newer, highly cohesive implants with greater fill volumes tend to lead to a fairly noticeable change in breast shape when flipped. The anterior surface of the breast appears flatter and less projected, particularly if the implants are above the muscle. My suggestion would be to see your plastic surgeon for an examination to determine the cause of the change and what the next steps should be. Good luck. I hope this helps.

It is very difficult to know exactly what is going on without doing a good exam. It would be good for you to see your plastic surgeon and get their opinion. There are a number of reasons why shape changes occur, and 1 of the more common ones is capsular contracture. This is diagnosed mostly by examination.

Your implant may have flipped or you may have developed a capsule. Please go visit with a plastic surgeon and be examined. Take your breast implant information with you.
