Negative reactions from the Venus Viva Treatment? Are these all normal? (Photo)

First off, it appears the treatment wasnt fully done evenly on all parts of your skin.  Did an MD perform this procedure?  One that is laser trained?  Secondly, viva causes swelling that can last 3-7 days if done aggressively.  In my practice we give all patients take home masks to calm this down and have them take claritiin/benadryl for a week.  Skin care is essential at this time to calm swelling.  Lastly, the bumps you are feeling are crusts that normally occur and need to be treated with the proper skin care for optimal outcomes.  Please see an expert.  We use PRP and microneedling to speed up the healing process.  Best, Dr. Emer.

The RF treatment can cause skin redness and swelling but sometimes the nature of the swelling may be due to folliculitis. I would suggest talking to the performing MD to see if the recovery is normal.
